Jesus

Poet and producer Joshua shares about his love for Jesus – God on Earth as man. The example for how we live and how we interact with the world around us. We are walking, talking miracles, that are fearfully and wonderfully made. Jesus stopped and gave time to those who others would seem as unworthy. Jesus didn’t see anyone as unworthy of his time – so Joshua challenges us to think about how we spend our time.

Praise

Pippa shares a spoken word about the difficulties and joys of praise. Why would the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit need our praise? What could we add to the maker of the universe? Pippa explains the difference between need and love, that God doesn’t need us, but loves us and wants to be in a relationship with us – this is enough reason for praise!

Thanks

Methodist Youth President Phoebe Parkin shares her thankfulness for the beauty of our world. Nature gives Phoebe an opportunity to grow closer to God in the logic and order as well as the awe and complexities of the world. We are not separate from God’s creation, but a part of it. How can you connect with nature to grow closer to God today?

Sorry

When was the last time you said sorry? Saying ‘sorry’ is often one of the hardest things that we can say. In her video, Elle reflects on when she’s upset someone or has disappointed God, she feels like she has let people down. Elle notes pride as something that gets in the way of her saying sorry to other people, or to God. We need to say sorry when we’re in the wrong – breakthrough and freedom comes, when we say sorry. When we shake off pride and let our guard down.

Offer

Joe asks us what kind of life we’re searching for. One of peace and joy? Jesus brings life and joy into our lives as we offer ourselves to him every day, and in every moment. Earlier this year, Joe was in a low space and knew that he needed Jesus’ life to carry on. By offering Jesus his life, Joe experienced freedom and life like never before. Joe finishes by challenging us to read the Gospel of John, taking our time to consider the character of Jesus.

Pray For

In her video, Grace focuses on praying in the good times as much as you need pray in the bad times. When Grace’s life is going well, she shares that she struggles to remember to pray but when it’s hard she remembers how needed our prayers are. Grace challenges us to thank God for the blessings He’s already poured out over us, and to pray for provision for the future.

Help

Artist and author Guvna B shares his experience of asking for help from God and those near him. Loosing his Dad in 2017 was a difficult thing for Guvna B to process, resulting in a breakdown a few months later. Through this, Guvna B realised he needed help. Psalm 13 helped Guvna B to process his prayers, anger, doubts and feelings. How can you ask for help today?

Adore

In this video, Andy and Izzi explore the theme ‘adore’. What or who do you adore? Izzi adores going to the beach and having the sand between her toes and for Andy, it’s the people closest to him in life, that he adores. But is this the same adore that we read about in the Bible? For Andy and Izzi, the things they adore bring them closer to God – who we worship and should show our real adoration to.

Silence

Jamie Jones-Buchanan shares his thoughts on the importance of silence. For Jamie, silence was needed as a rugby player to listen to his teammates and to hear guidance from his coach. Rugby stadiums in silence give Jamie time to reflect on the memories he has had playing, and the lessons he’s learnt on the way. Jamie learns more about God by taking 20 minutes out of his day to read the Bible in silence, how can you learn more about God?
