Across the UK and Ireland, join Vineyard Church as they bow down and kneel, together in prayer, for our communities and nations as part of Thy Kingdom Come on Friday 14th May at 21.00 BST.

Bow Down is hosted by Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland and on that day and time, they are encouraging Christians to unite in prayer for 15 minutes, following the guided prayers (which will be received upon singing up) and to join in this shared moment with individuals from churches around the UK and Ireland.

By adding your location to their website, a pin will appear on a live prayer map representing your prayers.

They are also encourages churches to take part by sharing the screen of the website to follow the timings, or for Small Groups to use this moment to gather in prayer on Zoom. Similarly, churches and households are encouraged to take part in their own ways, to kneel down in their homes, or in-person in church buildings and grounds (as long as it is COVID secure.).

Prayers will begin at 21.00pm BST on Friday 14th May 2021, using the Lord’s Prayer. The website will guide you through that prayer, updating in real-time with prayer points, unifying your prayers with thousands of others at that exact moment.

As the time of prayer comes to an end, participants are encouraged to light a candle and place it in a window – symbolising that Jesus is the light of the world.

Feel free to share a photo of your candle on social media using the hashtags #BowDown and #ThyKingdomCome.

There will also be prayer resources, guides and family activities on their website to help engage everybody, no matter their age, stage or circumstance during this time,
